Jakes Dive Bar in Breckenridge

Small place, limited selection of food and drink (as you would expect of a small place)Staff was nice, but just know what you're getting into before you go in.

We had a group of 10 spending money here and were the only people at the bar. The owner was drunk at the place and harassing our group. Grabbing the mic out of our hands and picking physical fights with us. The other workers told him he had too much and he told them to leave instead. Great employees with a terrible owner. Will never go back.

this place is great. Ruben and Josh are very friendly and are always mingling with the patrons. one of our go to places. the pizza is pretty darn good as well

Small, VERY simple menu. Only high-top table seating. Not what we were looking for as two couples taking our toddlers out to lunch.

Nothing but good things to say about this dive spot. If I'm not mistaken, ownership changed after the 2015/16 season so anxious to see if much has changed.

The most expensive dive bar ever!!!! You can find cheaper beers and "dive bar" feel elsewhere in Breck with a much more fun atmosphere. This bar is nothing special!

Surprisingly good pizza - a really hot oven with good dough and cheese. Good bar, too.

Worst experience ever! Bar tenders are great, owner is an alcoholic and mean! Go if the owner isn't there.

Definitely a dive bar, but the drinks are cheap

I hope this place goes out of business. Bar tender made fun of the drink order my girlfriend put in and refused to make the drink. What a jack ass.

Wow! This place is a FIND! Cool small 'dive ' bar atmosphere, GREAT server ( Lauren ) and good food! Reasonable prices and some decent beers on tap.....All in all a great find....Try it!

Worst bar experience ever. Rudest bartender, and it was suuuuper awkward to watch him snort heroin off of the bar, especially since we were with my mom. This bar has a serious problem. Save yourself the trouble of coming here!

The owner & bartenders are awesome, those who say otherwise most likely got too drunk and made an ass of themselves (I've seen it happen). Great food, cheap drinks, real people - can't ask for anything more.

Small bar, decent place but a terrible owner that tried to pick fights with us. Save your time and go to one of Breck's great bars.

We encountered Jake's bar after finding out the pizza place around the corner had a 30 minute wait. My kids were starving so we needed to find a place quick. The guy, who I am guessing was the manager, said since it was early enough my kids (8 and 11) were more than welcome to eat there. Our bartender/waiter was extremely friendly and gave us perfect service. My kids both ordered pizza and it was delicious! My eleven year old ate his entire 10" pizza by himself. My hubby and I both ordered their baked potatoes topped with buffalo chicken and cheese. We were not in the least bit disappointed. They were very tasty. The staff and patrons were all very respectful that my kids were there. I highly recommend Jake's Dive Bar. The food, atmosphere and service was amazing.
